What's inside the guide

  • A 2-week itinerary off the beaten path: Bangkok and its local life, Lampang and Sukhothai, Isan (Nakhon Ratchasima and Nong Khai) and the south, with Trang and Koh Kradan.
  • A 1-month itinerary: Bangkok, the Golden Triangle (Chiang Rai and Chiang Mai), the Gulf islands (Koh Samui, Koh Phangan and Koh Tao) and the south (Phuket, Phi Phi, Krabi and Khao Sok).
  • A map of the country by region and what each one offers, from Pai to Koh Mak and Koh Kood.
  • Islands to relax on and islands to party on.
  • Cafés, restaurants and hotels in Bangkok, Chiang Mai, Koh Samui and Koh Tao/Koh Phangan, from hostels to €€€ hotels.
